Brookfields Primary School

CREATE Partnership Trust

Brookfields Primary School is proud to be part of the Create Partnership Trust family of schools

Introduction from the CEO: Mark Unwin

Create Partnership Trust is a Birmingham-based, multi academy trust and family of four schools: Brookfields Primary, Conway Primary, Greet Primary and Hodge Hill Primary, all committed to working together, sharing best practice and supporting and challenging each other.

Our commitment is to each and every pupil: that they are safe and happy, flourish personally and academically and are well prepared for the next stage of their education journey.  Through our pupils, we make a commitment to our families, so that we have strong and positive partnerships which focus on doing what is best for the pupils.

Our commitment is also to our staff, that they can develop professionally, achieve job satisfaction and know that they are successful.

At the root of these commitments are the Trust’s values:

  • EXCELLENCE:        having high expectations for all that we do
  • PARTNERSHIP:      working in collaboration within and between schools and with

                                        external partners

  • PERSEVERANCE:   continuing to try hard and do our best even when we are met with

                                        challenges.

The Trust believes that these three values are represented in its work at all levels – for each pupil, for each member of staff, for our teams, for our schools and for the Trust as a whole.

The three broad aims of the Trust are:

  • To maintain current strengths and create secure and successful futures for all stakeholders in Create Partnership Trust schools, based on a collaborative culture with shared values and clear moral purpose
  • To ensure that all schools in Create Partnership Trust become forward thinking and dynamic centres of learning excellence
  • To develop strong working partnerships internally and externally which have a positive impact on children’s achievement, safety and well-being

Each school in the Trust is unique – and we want to keep it that way, so that it serves its own community.  However, being part of a multi-academy trust also means being agreeing to work together and find common ways forward.  We are lucky to have such dedicated leaders and staff who are so committed to their partnership in delivering the Trust’s vision.

A final note: it has not been easy for the schools to steer a path through the challenges of COVID-19 but we have worked together, as far as possible, and shared our challenges.  On behalf of the Trust, I would like to say a big THANK YOU to everyone in the school community – pupils, staff and parents – who have shown such strength, patience and courage during these difficult times.
