Dear parents and children.
We hope you are well and had a lovely weekend. Just a reminder that your child brings home a reading book which you need to read to them at least 3 times a week and then write a comment in their yellow reading record book. Thank you to those parents who are already doing this.
This week is World Nursery Rhyme week, Anti Bullying week and on Friday it is Children in Need.
Please sing lots of nursery rhymes with your child this week as there is no rhyme of the week due to World Nursery Rhyme week. Ask your child what rhyme they would like to sing and use some actions when singing too. On Monday the children can wear odd socks for Anti Bullying week and on Friday the children can wear pyjamas for a donation of 50p.
We look forward to seeing you during the parent meetings.

Anti Bullying week
Listen to the story below and talk about how the children feel when they are being bullied.
Remember that bullying is when someone keeps hurting you with their words or actions again and again on purpose.
What can you do if you are being bullied? Tell your parents, teachers, adults or older siblings.
How should we treat each other? With kindness.
Talk about the different ways we can be kind to each other.
Count the number of spots below in the pictures. Touch each object as you count them.
Can you show these numbers on your fingers?
Can you find 3 plates?
Can you find 4 pencils?
Can you find 5 spoons?
