We worked over 2 days to write and edit a simple retell of the story A Squash and a Squeeze.

What do you do to write a word or sentence?

We have been learning to write captions. A caption can be words/phrases or sentences that capture what is going on in an image.

We are learning to retell the story of the Little Red Hen. Can you use the map to help you?

Learning to write labels - labels are words/phrases that match a picture or part of something. It gives the reader more informaiton.

Learning to write list; Top-down and using numbers

We used a story map to help us retell the story of the Gingerbread Man. We need to use a clear voice and speak in sentences. Have a go at home.
