We have been watching the video ‘The a dream giver’. We then analysed an example of a good descriptive narrative together. Then we had a go our own. They were so impressive we took some children to see Mrs Lees, Mrs Cross and Miss O’Rourke to share their work.
We explored verbs, nouns and adjectives today. We then completed a shared write together.
We sequenced the significant events from the story bubbles
We used our lists from the week to help us write setting descriptions.
We looked at nouns fro. The beach and generated lists of adjectives to describe them.
We have been using and join ideas and clauses linked to the setting beach from bubbles.
We enjoyed exploring the word fantasy
When it all seems blue, happiness may be close by… if you just look closely at your surroundings perhaps you will find it!
Gabby is walking on the beach and finds a bottle of bubbles - when she blows it she gets transported into fantasy.
She has fun riding on bubbles and meets people and things on her way.
