Friday 26th June 2020

Hey everyone!

Friday seems to have come around fast again!

Well done to all of you, who have been working hard in your school Bubble group and to those of you, who have been working hard at home.

Today’s Tasks – again there are 4 tasks today, if you need more time, you can continue the English tomorrow.

Guided Understanding

Today, finish off any unfinished reading comprehension work from this week.  You should also login to Active Learn and do some reading activities.

English

 https://www.talk4writing.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/Y6- Monsters.pdf

You need to complete Activities 9 and 10.

Maths

Time for Friday’s Family Challenge!

Remember these start off easier and get tricky as you work through. You could do them on your own, or you could work together as a family or you could make it competitive and challenge your family - who can get the most right?

Here are the questions and the answers:

Art

https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/henri-matisse-and-collage-800310

In this lesson we will learn about French artist Henri Matisse and create a collage inspired by his work.

That’s it for this week!  Have a lovely, sunny weekend (in between the thunderstorms!).  Remember to keep safe, keep cool and keep washing those hands!

It’s lovely to see some of you, but we’re still missing the others!

Maybe we’ll see a few more next week?

Miss Ledbury, Miss O'Rourke and Ms Ford xxx

Teatime Talk - 26.06.20

Every day I will be posting a 'teatime talk' question for you all to discuss at home with your family. These questions are thunks.

There are NO right or wrong answers to these questions – simply YOUR answers.

You do, however, need to think about your answers and be able to justify them – in other words, don’t say the first thing that comes into your head, AND, be prepared to fully explain your answers when you give them.

Listen to the answers given by others and treat them seriously – even if they sound odd, they may all be valid if they can be justified.
