Monday 29th June 2020
Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a good weekend.
This week, we will be continuing the English Monster writing and finishing it off. We will have reading and maths every day, as well as some other subjects - and our Teatime Talk too!
At school, we will work in Bubble Groups. We will make sure we keep ourselves safe by following the Bubble Rules. Remember, if you are still staying at home, you can access the work we do in school here on the website.
Today’s Tasks
Guided Understanding/Reading
Everyone has been set a book band on Active Learn/Bug Club. This means that there is a large choice of books for you to read. This week, you need to read from this collection every day and complete some of the activities.

Today, you have some more time to finish off your plan or writing for your Monster report.
Whichever activity you are currently working on, check through it carefully and make sure it is completed to your best ability.
Tomorrow, you will move on to the next activity.
Maths

Today, you need to complete lesson 1, which is all about Introducing the Ratio symbol. Remember to have to your book and a pencil ready to pause the video and have a go at the questions.
There are more questions and two activity worksheets on BBC Bitesize – just follow the links.
That’s it for today! Have a good week. Remember, you still need to keep yourself safe, stay 2m apart and wash your hands regularly.
It’s lovely to see some of you, but we’re still missing others.

Teatime Talk - 29.06.20
Every day I will be posting a 'teatime talk' question for you all to discuss at home with your family. These questions are thunks.
There are NO right or wrong answers to these questions – simply YOUR answers.
You do, however, need to think about your answers and be able to justify them – in other words, don’t say the first thing that comes into your head, AND, be prepared to fully explain your answers when you give them.
Listen to the answers given by others and treat them seriously – even if they sound odd, they may all be valid if they can be justified.
This is David Attenborough’s message to all of us.
What does it mean?
What should we do in response to his important message?
