HOME LEARNING WB: 15.06.20

Monday 15th June 2020

Good morning year 2,

We hope you have had a good weekend and ready for another week of home learning.

Remember there are activities that you can also do using the pdf's at the top of the home learning page, under the learning projects heading.

Today we are going to be thinking about our feelings. Click the link to watch the video and complete the activities. https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/my-lockdown-feelings-73d5ff/activities/1#

Once you have drawn your picture about what you have enjoyed during lockdown, why not place it somewhere that you and your family can see it.

Once you have completed the feelings activity, log on to active learn https://www.activelearnprimary.co.uk/login?c=0 and complete any of the activities that you have not done yet.

Check out our new meditation video at the top of the page.

Have a good day.

Hello Year 2,

We hope you enjoyed completing the activities yesterday, if you haven't completed them yet then don't worry as they are still on the website.

Today we are going to GET ACTIVE!!!!

Activity 1

Your challenge is to do 20 minutes of moving your body or sport.

Here are some ideas of what you could do:
✓ Keepy-uppies with a football
✓ Dance to some music
✓ Sit on a chair and move your feet, then your legs, then your arms and then your hands
✓ Go outside for a fast walk
✓ Hit a ball against a wall
✓ Play bat and ball with someone
✓ Hula hooping – how many can you do in one go?

Activity 2

Choose five challenges that you enjoyed the most, draw a picture of them in your home learning book and write a sentence for each one explaining what you did and how you felt.

Have a ACTIVE DAY!!!

See you tomorrow.

Good morning year 2,

We hope you had a great day being active yesterday. Today we are going to do some math, focusing on odd and even numbers. Watch the video using the link below and then complete activity 2. You will not need your home learning book for this activity. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/articles/zr23c7h

Once you have finished activity 2, complete the questions below. You will need your home learning book or a piece of paper to write on. Write the number of each activity as a heading, so you know which section to mark when you have finished. Do not worry about not being able to write on the  question sheet, you can write odd and even underneath your heading and decide which numbers are odd or even; you can also write your explanation to the questions in your book.

Click the link for questions.

Click the link for answers.

Have a good day.
