Counting backwards and forwards from any given number up to 50. Do you know 1 more and 1 less without looking at the 100 square? Remember 1 more means going forwards and 1 less is going backwards.

Please ask your child to write numbers 0-9 daily at home. Most children are still writing them the wrong way around. In order for them to be expected in Year 1 the numbers need to be the correct way around.
