Brookfields Primary School

New to Nursery 2020

September 2020

On Monday 7th September 2020 we would like to invite 1 parent/carer to walk through the setting with your child. This will give you the opportunity to meet the EYFS team, see your child’s classroom and reassure your child. If they are upset we will ask you to walk round the one-way system again.

All parents/carers to wear a face covering. A mask can be provided for you if required.

From 7th September 2020 our Nursery sessions will run from 8:35am until 11:45am Monday to Friday.

Dear Parents / Carers,

We would like to welcome all our new children and families to Brookfields Primary School. We are delighted that you will be joining us in September 2020. A welcome booklet has been sent to you in the post to support you and your child with their Nursery induction process.

Ordinarily we would hold stay and play welcome sessions. However, due to the current situation this is not possible. We hope to hold our Induction Session on Monday 7th September and Tuesday 8th September 2020. Doors open at 8:35 am and the sessions will run until 11:45 am.

We would like to ask that only ONE parent / carer accompanies their child. There will be a one way system where we hope each adult can walk their child into the classroom to help settle their child.

We are awaiting more Government Guidelines so please check the website at the end of August 2020 for any updates.
