Science - Seasons

We have completed a week of weather observations. We noticed that the the temperature was decreasing over time. We discussed how we know this is linked to changing seasons.

We have been learning about Winter. We made Winter sensory bottles. We discussed the colours of winter and what it represents.

Discussing the changes from Autumn to Winter. We discussed the difference in weather, activities and how we adapt.

We have been making observations on the weather everyday this week. We made rain guage to measure rainfall over the course of a week. We also have placed a thermometer outside so we can observe the temperature. We are recording the data collected on a weather chart.

We have started our project on Seasons. We have learned that there are 4 seasons; Summer, Spring, Autumn and Winter. We will be focusing on the season Autumn, which takes place in September, October and November. We went on a walk around the school grounds to find examples of Autumn. We found different leaves. The colours of Autumn are orange, brown, red and yellow.
