World Book Day 2H :)
We all had a lot of fun dressing up as our favourite book characters
especially the teachers!
We went on a journey to Save King Charles! We had to go to the countries of the United Kingdom and find symbols representing each country to complete a map in order to rescue the King.

During the final week of term year 2 have been busy!
We had our Christmas dinner on Wednesday, the children really enjoyed the day with their party In the afternoon 🎉🎉

This week we have been busy in year 2!
We started off with our parent workshop, a massive thank you to all the parents who attended we hope you found the workshop interesting and informative!
we know the children LOVED having their parents there and reading with them.
In science we have been looking at materials.
We tested which material is the most waterproof and which material is absorbent
can you think of some more waterproof materials?
For DT we have been looking at free-standing structures. We have explored different ways of joining materials to create playground equipment.
For poetry day we performed our poem which was called TAILS
Year 2 had a great time performing the poem and creating tails
Wear something Yellow to School on Monday 10th October to kick start World Mental Health Week.
