Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
Due to the adverse weather conditions, school will be closed to all pupils and staff on the 25th January. Remote learning will be in place as usual, all children should attend their TEAMS sessions and log onto BGFL for their activities.
We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.

Dear families,
Well done for another successful week of home learning!
We know sometimes you will want to be able to contact class teachers direct, so we have created class emails. This will allow the teachers to easily see any communications without them getting mixed up into their usual - very full - mail boxes. They will check this each day, please bear in mind, they may not be able to respond the same day as they are busy supporting online learning and creating content for the next day.
I have also created an email for you to contact me. Currently I receive nearly 100 emails a day from different government briefings, to staff emails. If parents were to use this address I would often not see your mail!
Please feel free to share any positive comments you have, as well as any areas we could look at. We are all new to online learning but we are pleased with our first full week. We welcome feedback and will look at how we can make adaptations where needed.
We look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Mrs Lees

Dear families,
I am so proud of our children, parents and staff! Today has been nothing short of intense. We know many of our families are not as IT savvy as we are... but by the time lockdown is over - you will be!
We did experience a city wide crash earlier in the week due to the number of children logging onto the platform in Birmingham, but they seemed to have fixed the issue.
We are here to help, but please bear with us. Packs are now ready for collection for your children, these contain workbooks, passwords and pencils. (If your child is in Reception, Year 3 or Year 5, they have already had their book allocation.) These books are if your children have spare time.
We are starting easy, we know families with multiple children will need to settle into a pattern to access the online learning so we have started off gently. The work expectation will increase as we all become more settled.
Thank you for your support.

Dear Parents,
As I write this at 9pm on Monday 4th January, I can't believe we are back to this point again.
School will now be closed to all pupils until after February half term.
We will make provision for key worker children and any children we think need to be in school for personal reasons.
We have spent today planning a short term remote learning plan as we hoped we would open by 18th if not before. Now we know this is a longer term situation, we will need to reassess the plan.
We will update you with more information as soon as possible.
Thank you for your support at this challenging time.
Best wishes,
Mrs Lees
