School will close at 1:30pm on Monday. Children MUST be collected. We will review Tuesday after the weekend updates, I am hoping it will be safe to stay open all day.

  • World Book Day - Thursday 3rd March

    Wed 02 Mar 2022

    Dear Families,

Tomorrow we are celebrating World Book Day, our theme is a "Bedtime Book."

    Children need to come in:-

    • Clean pyjamas (with underwear underneath!)
    • School shoes or trainers as they will still go outside for lunch
    • Dressing gown / blanket
    • Cuddly toy - Yes even Year 6!
    • Favourite book

If you have a book character costume you have already purchased, you are welcome to wear it.

Throughout the day we will be looking at a class book to use as our class stimulus.

We will also look at bedtime stories and the power of reading before bedtime.

We hope tomorrow will be a lovely day for the children.

    Best wishes,

  • A Message from our CEO

    Fri 26 Feb 2021

    To all parents/carers and families

Create Partnership Trust is delighted to know that we can once again fully open our schools on Monday 8 March.  What an extraordinarily difficult year we have had, and especially for those of you who have lost loved ones to this terrible virus.  We wish you all ongoing good health and wellbeing.  Thank you to all of you for the sacrifices you have made in ensuring that your children’s learning has continued.  The staff have worked incredibly hard to provide remote education but now we will be so pleased to see your children back in school!  We have missed them!

    Best wishes

  • Wider School Opening

Tue 23 Feb 2021 Mrs Lees

    Dear families,

We were thrilled to hear that school will be opening to all children from Monday 8th March. The government issued new guidance last night and we are currently reviewing our risk assessments against this guidance.

Although we are very excited for the children to return, we must all remain cautious and follow government guidelines. Masks must be worn by all adults on the school site, please bring one with you and ensure it is on as you enter the grounds.

Our class bubbles will stay in place, as will the isolation period for children who are close contacts of any positive case.

As a nation, we have worked so hard to beat this virus, we all need to be patient for a little while longer and support the national guidance, especially with the children returning and mixing in school again.

We can't wait to get the children back in school and learning together. Online learning engagement has been fantastic, but children need contact with others to develop skills that aren't possible on a screen. I hope the children are looking forward to coming back and are ready to learn.

We will see you all on the 8th March - bright and early!

    Best wishes,

    Mrs Lees

  • BGFL Update

Wed 10 Feb 2021 Mrs Lees

    Dear Families,

Thank you for your continued patience whilst we address the technical issues we have been having. The issue is still being worked on in the background by the technical services.

They are hoping that the process will be finished Thursday night and we can return to BGFL as usual.

TEAMS has been a whole new learning process for many staff. We were doing so well... and now our WIFI flters in school are blocking work!

We are having a completely new internet system installed over half term, including a massive WIFI upgrade, hopefully when school opens on the 23rd February, everything will be back to smooth and fabulous. In the meantime, if you are having trouble accessing learning content, please remember we have TT Rockstars/ Numbots, Active learn and bug club.

Thank you for all of your support.

    Mrs Lees

  • Contact us!

Thu 14 Jan 2021 Mrs Lees

    Dear families,

Well done for another successful week of home learning!

We know sometimes you will want to be able to contact class teachers direct, so we have created class emails. This will allow the teachers to easily see any communications without them getting mixed up into their usual - very full - mail boxes. They will check this each day, please bear in mind, they may not be able to respond the same day as they are busy supporting online learning and creating content for the next day.

I have also created an email for you to contact me. Currently I receive nearly 100 emails a day from different government briefings, to staff emails. If parents were to use this address I would often not see your mail!

Please feel free to share any positive comments you have, as well as any areas we could look at. We are all new to online learning but we are pleased with our first full week. We welcome feedback and will look at how we can make adaptations where needed.

We look forward to hearing from you.

    Best wishes,

    Mrs Lees
