The MET office have issued a RED alert for extreme heat. We have made the difficult decision to close early for all pupils on Monday.
School will close at 1:30pm on Monday. Children MUST be collected. We will review Tuesday after the weekend updates, I am hoping it will be safe to stay open all day.
Dear Families,
Tomorrow we are celebrating World Book Day, our theme is a "Bedtime Book."
Children need to come in:-
If you have a book character costume you have already purchased, you are welcome to wear it.
Throughout the day we will be looking at a class book to use as our class stimulus.
We will also look at bedtime stories and the power of reading before bedtime.
We hope tomorrow will be a lovely day for the children.
Best wishes,
Brookfields Primary School
Dear Families,
Please remember that our newsletters are now digital and are in the News and Events section. We have contacted the website company but at this time, they are unable to link the newsletters to the "latest news" section.
We are collecting food donations for our local food bank to celebrate the Harvest. This time of year is a chance to reflect on how lucky we are to have enough to eat, we hope you are able to share a tin that we can donate to this important charity. Thank you for your support, Brookfields Primary School.
Dear Families,
Below is a link to our PSHE curriculum which includes the elements of the Relationship and Sex Education curriculum, which is now Statutory. (RSE)
We are sharing this curriculum with you and a SWAY with further information and a Form to share any views.
The pandemic has delayed this process and we apologise for how close this is to the end of term.
We would appreciate any feedback by July 16th.
